Prof. Gabriel Kigen is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a Fellow of the East, Central, and Southern Africa College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ECSACOG), and a Public Health Specialist.

He holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Liverpool, UK; an MPhil in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Liverpool, UK; and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi.

He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at Moi University and has previously served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Moi University, Lecturer and Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Moi University School of Medicine, and Hospital Pharmacist at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH).
