Issuance of Work Permits and Passes in Kenya is regulated by Sections 36, 40, 41, and 42, of the Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Act 2011 and the attendant Regulations.

Application Submission and Collection
All applications for Permits and Passes are made and submitted online on the eFNS Portal https://fns.immigration.go.ke accompanied by all the necessary requirements which should be uploaded.
Applicants should print  Permits and Passes from the eFNS portal once they are processed and issued and present to immigration office for endorsement.
