Consular Services
The Directorate is mandated to offer consular Services to Kenyan Diaspora in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.

The Consular Services are offered by the staff of the Directorate posted in various Kenya High Commissions, Embassies, and Consulates.

Specific Key Consular Services offered at Kenya Missions Abroad are;
a) Processing and issuance of Birth Certificates to Kenyans born abroad
b) Processing and issuance of Kenyan Identity Cards
c) Processing and Issuance of Passports
d) Processing and issuance of Emergency Travel Documents
e) Processing and issuance of electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
f) Processing and issuance of no impediment to marriage certificates in Missions Abroad
g) Advice on all matters pertaining to Kenya Citizenship and residency in Kenya Missions Abroad.
h) Processing of no objection certificate for organs transplant to Kenya nationals
i) Processing of no objection certificate for repatriation of human remains of Kenyans who die abroad.
j) Process and issuance of canine certificates in Missions Abroad
