Widows And Widowers – Form 9

A foreign national who has been Married to Kenyan citizen for over 7 years is eligible for registration, as a citizen of Kenya in the event of death of the Kenyan spouse.

Requirements
  1. Duly completed application Form (9) attested to by a Commissioner for Oaths
  2. 2 passport size photographs
  3. Copy of marriage certificate
  4. Copy of death certificate
  5. Original certificate of good conduct
  6. A sworn affidavit
  7. Copy of dependents pass/permits
  8. Passport Copy of Applicant and deceased Kenyan spouse

Issuance for East Africans – KSH 20,000
Issuance for Non-East Africans – KSH 50,000
