Transforming Policy into Opportunities

$150M
World Bank‑backed programme

Kenya Jobs and Economic Transformation Project (KJET)

Policy reforms are being translated into tangible investment opportunities through initiatives such as the Kenya Jobs and Economic Transformation Project (KJET). Supported by the World Bank, this USD 150 million programme connects reforms, finance and markets to create jobs and stimulate investment. It is expected to benefit more than 45,000 Kenyans, including over 6,800 women, by strengthening the business environment, supporting MSME ecosystems and expanding access to sustainable finance.

$200M
Target assets under management

Green Investment Fund (GIF)

Equally transformative is the establishment of the Green Investment Fund (GIF), anchored by USD 40 million in World Bank funding through the Kenya Development Corporation and managed by Britam Asset Managers. With a target of USD 200 million in assets under management, the Fund will finance green and climate-smart enterprises, crowd in private capital and reduce investment risks. This initiative demonstrates Kenya's commitment to climate resilience and sustainable industrialization.
